Super Fun!

This was a great app to start coding! Its very fun, especially for kids! This is a great game to play if you have a little time! However, its about a half hour before you complete the game, so theres not much content in the app. Still, two thumbs up!

Very good

Reminds me of Logo on the Radio Shack Color Computer back in the 80s. Something for the grandkids to try in a few years.

Lightbot one hour coding is a free basic coding app that lets kids guide a robot into lighting up certain squares through a series of simple picture commands. It does have directions that need to be read, but the programming itself is through pictures. It allows the child to press play to test their codes immediately. They can either check each piece as they go or wait until the end. With young children I would recommend talking them through it with asking questions together. The hardest part is helping them see the direction perspective of the robot. Dylan and I just played for over 30 minutes and had a blast. It works on giving and following directions, perspective/orientation of objects, coding, problem solving, patterns, cause and effect and more. Can you tell that I like this app a lot?

Short

Fun but only took 10 minutes to complete.
